Hi, I’m Priscilla Daniel.
I'm an Electrical and Biomedical Engineering graduate from McMaster University, educator, and lifelong learner with a passion for helping students build confidence in STEM.
Pivot Learning began as a passion project and has grown into something much bigger—a place where students can strengthen their understanding, develop effective study habits, and discover what they're capable of achieving. Through my experiences tutoring students, mentoring university peers, teaching at Kumon, leading STEM workshops, and even teaching abroad in rural Tanzania, I've seen firsthand how the right support can transform a student's confidence and academic journey.
At Pivot Learning, we believe that education is about more than grades. It's about building the skills, mindset, and curiosity that help students succeed long after the classroom.
My Approach
I believe anyone can learn STEM with the right guidance, practice, and support. My goal is to make challenging concepts feel approachable by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps.
Simplify the Complex
STEM subjects can often feel overwhelming. I help students break down difficult concepts into digestible pieces, making it easier to understand the "why" behind the material rather than simply memorizing formulas.
Identify Patterns
Success in math and science comes from recognizing patterns and connections. I teach students how to spot recurring concepts, problem-solving strategies, and common question types so they can approach new challenges with confidence.
Build Lasting Understanding
My focus is not just on improving grades, but on helping students develop strong foundations, effective study habits, and the confidence to tackle increasingly complex material independently.
To help students pivot from confusion to confidence, from frustration to understanding, and from potential to achievement.
